Wearing safety gloves for protection from antigens and toxic substances is a precaution worth taking in certain circumstances. Unfortunately, such gloves are generally made from synthetic materials - especially plastics - and are disposed of after only one use. This creates quite the plastic waste flow, and directly contributes to a single-use disposable world. We understand the need for gloves, especially when travelling or handling goods, or when washing hands just isn't practical in public venues, and searched for a plastic-free alternative to offer. 

These 100% cotton gloves can be washed and re-worn after each use. They are lightweight, form-fitting, flexible, and an alternative to their plastic counterparts for certain applications, such as public transportation, travelling or shopping. Please note that these gloves are not waterproof, and thus do not create the same impermeable barrier as regulated rubber or plastic gloves intended for medical/clinical use. These gloves are not intended for use in wet environments or for medical/clinical use.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, you can wear a glove on one hand (your non-dominant hand) to touch surfaces, handles, door knobs or when you know you will not be able to wash your hands right away. Make sure you don't touch your face with the glove as it can still collect pathogens. Change the gloves often, wash them every day after usage and of course be sure to wash your hands regularly.
