I really like that these sprouting lids come in wide mouth size: it makes it so much easier to clean out the jars easily. The stainless steel ring is great as it is slower to rust, I just wish they would have some sort of marking on them so that i don't mix them up with non-stainless rings. I've resorted to marking them with permanent marker, but I kind of wish they'd thought about it in the design. The mesh is just the right size for small and large seeds, but it does sometimes develops rust spots after several uses, I've seen it happen on high end stainless steel tables as well so I don't think it's a sign of low quality, just an occasional issue with steel manufacturing.
