It is made of high quality food grade stainless steel. The lid has a non-removable silicone seal that has been factory-installed without adhesive. The three stainless steel latches are a breeze to open quickly by children and adults alike.
The base container can be heated in a toaster oven or on the stove - but be careful because it will be very hot to the touch! Please note that the lid should not be put in the oven or used on the stove.
You can use a non-permanent marker to write on the container. This is handy for specifying contents and storage date. The marker writings wash off easily with water and friction.
The base container is dishwasher-safe, but the lid is not and should be handwashed in warm soapy water.
Replacement lids can be purchased separately.

Great little stainless steel storage container. It is small but very efficient. I like how easy it is to use! The lid can’t get washed in the dishwasher because it has a silicone ring, I wish the container would come in a larger size. I bought two but wouldn’t hesitate to buy more. I definitely recommend it.
Love this container! Keeps cooled rice fresh and moist. My only reservation is that you should not close the clamps while the food is warm because as the food cools in the fridge an amazing seal will form making the lid hard to remove. So just put the lid on without the clamps until the food cools, then close the clamps.
