Wooden dish brush
Love the design as it's long enough to not get the cuffs of my sleeves wet and short enough to hang by its metal hanger to dry out. Very sturdy design and I expect to use it for a few years at least.
Dishwashing brushes are a common household item - many of which are made from plastic that ends up in landfills. This entirely natural dish washing brush, is made of pale, hard bristles of tampico fibre (from the agave palm tree) mounted on an untreated sustainably harvested beechwood handle. The brush head is replaceable and can be thrown into the compost at the end of its life. A new brush head can be purchased here.
Sustainably made in Germany by a dynamic, ethical family business committed to creating the highest quality products from natural renewable materials using old world techniques and modern designs and technology. We have visited them and their facilities in Germany and were extremely impressed.
Replacement heads available separately.

I chose this particular dish brush after reviewing several others. It works very well and I'm quite pleased with it. The bristles are softer than the plastic ones I have used before but it is very durable.
