These cups have been our daily go to onboard our sailing catamaran home for over 10 years. Holding a hot cup of coffee or tea without burning fingers while maintaining the contents at desired temperature longer than most finger burning and breakable ceramic counterparts. The cups are not only functional from a temperature maintenance standpoint, but also by virtue of their shape. Their aspect ratio (height to width) is a good fit for our floating home with the bottom diameter of the cup no smaller than the over width through its full height. Additionally the outside diameter varies through height lending to an easier and more positive finger hold grip without employing an obtrusive handle or the unnecessary complexity of a non-slip textured finish. The cups clean easily both inside and out with a polished finish on the exterior and a brushed finish that is easy to remove coffee or tea stains with a bit of Scotch brite or baking soda. These cups serve well and we consider them heirloom quality in their function, beauty, and durability. With three hands aboard now, we needed an additional one to keep the crew happy and well hydrated. We have been customers of life without plastic for years and enjoy nearly all of our purchases, but none so well or often used as these cups.
