Beautiful glass work

I love this drinking vessel and I think it's beautifully made. I also love the fact that there is no plastic getting in contact with your beverage. I bought this item to take out with me to mid priced restaurants where they serve your drinks in plastic cups. I wanted to be able to bring this out on errands and then into the restaurant, remove the lid and drink from the glass cup instead of using their plastic cups. Especially, since I tend to ask for hot water instead of iced water. Hopefully, it passes. The only thing I wish is that there was a sleeve to protect the glass. It looks delicate even if it is well made. I'm worried one little jab to side after a hot beverage might make it vulnerable enough to shatter.

Very nice but needed to make one adjustment to use it

This is really nice and the way it's styled makes it feel really good in your hand. I also am impressed by how long it keeps my hot tea hot. The adjustment I needed to make is I have to wait for the tea to cool a bit before drinking. The tea is too hot to drink when first brewed because the glass on the lid is not double walled and the temperature of the tea is too hot against my lips as the sip of tea goes into my mouth across only one layer of glass. I now wait a few minutes for the tea to cool a bit.

Great quality, form-factor needs to improve

I was super excited to find an all-glass travel cup and immediately purchased two. I love the double-wall all-glass construction and the fact that the screen-printing of the company name is between the double walls (as these are notorious full of lead). The gasket works great and the cup doesn't leak, and I love that it fits nicely in the car cup-holder. So far the positives. On the negative side: this is a bottle, not a cup. And there is something very un-appealing to me about drinking my hot drink from a bottle. Even worse, the drinking hole is of rounded shape and too small. This creates a strong suction effect when taking a sip from the drink. So only a little amount at a time can be sipped and then one needs to release suction pressure. If the drinking hole was more triangular in shape, with a point toward the top, air could naturally flow into the container while a sip is being drunk so that suction would not develop. This should be an easy fix. Overall, I have a KeepCup 12oz glass Brew Cork cup. It has a fantastic form-factor and is a pleasure to drink from, The drinking hole does not create suction as it is triangular shaped. Sadly, the top cover is made of nasty plastic. I would recommend to life-without-plastic to improve the design of this otherwise beautiful product and take inspiration from well-designed travel cups like this one. If the design improves, I will be back to buy many more for myself, my family and friends as a fully-glass travel mug is a unique product that no one else makes and we try to avoid plastic as much as we can! Much appreciated for all your hard work.

Just what I was looking for!

I have been searching for a plastic free travel mug for a while. Yes, it's easy to find a non plastic mug, but the tops are always plastic.. I am thrilled with this. I get a little nervous because it is glass and it is a bit thin but I really like it. Perhaps you could add a silicone bottom to it?

Double Wall Reusable Glass Travel Mug

I love the design of this mug! My small hands can hold it easily. I always get compliments and have given it as a gift to friends. Prefer glass to stainless steel.

Mostly great!

I love drinking from this awesome glass! There are a few caveats to mention, however,. 1. The sipping hole cannot be closed, so it is not spill-proof. 2. As mentioned by others, it is no match in insulation to metal cups, but better than no insulation. Also keep in mind that it IS glass, and can break. 3. My biggest problem — especially when drinking something with milk in it, but even black coffee or tea — is that it can be difficult to clean because it is a narrow glass. Even my usual dish brush or mug scrubber will not reach down to bottom. However, I’m hoping that the LWP Bottle and Dish Brush does the trick! Otherwise, it is a wonderful glass for coffee or tea!

Double wall glass coffee cup

This cup has exceeded my expectations. I bought it to get away from the metallic taste that insulated travel mugs add to the coffee. This one works well. It will not keep coffee hot for hours, but it is better than non-insulated coffee mugs. It also works with my desktop coffee cup warmer.

Worth it. Get extras.

I love this mug! I use it at home b/c I don't drink my coffee immediately/quickly since I'm busy with two kids also. It keeps my drink warm just long enough for my mornings. They do break though. My friend broke one washing dishes. And I broke the inside bottom of one with a metal butter knife I was going to use to stir the drink (it wasn't a hard hit at all, must have just touched the right spot to crack it). I ordered more, and got a couple extras I keep stored away b/c I do imagine at some point they'll break (hopefully a long time from now). To be clear... we break our ceramic mugs as well (handles, shatter, etc) as well so this is no different. If you're looking for something that's constantly on-the-go and rough usage, then have a backup metal mug for that. I typically use this at home for breakfast and at my home work desk. I occasionally take it to the park when I'm playing with my kids or to the toddler's soccer game, but I'm always conscious of being careful in those situations.
