Mostly great!

I love drinking from this awesome glass! There are a few caveats to mention, however,. 1. The sipping hole cannot be closed, so it is not spill-proof. 2. As mentioned by others, it is no match in insulation to metal cups, but better than no insulation. Also keep in mind that it IS glass, and can break. 3. My biggest problem — especially when drinking something with milk in it, but even black coffee or tea — is that it can be difficult to clean because it is a narrow glass. Even my usual dish brush or mug scrubber will not reach down to bottom. However, I’m hoping that the LWP Bottle and Dish Brush does the trick! Otherwise, it is a wonderful glass for coffee or tea!

Double wall glass coffee cup

This cup has exceeded my expectations. I bought it to get away from the metallic taste that insulated travel mugs add to the coffee. This one works well. It will not keep coffee hot for hours, but it is better than non-insulated coffee mugs. It also works with my desktop coffee cup warmer.

Worth it. Get extras.

I love this mug! I use it at home b/c I don't drink my coffee immediately/quickly since I'm busy with two kids also. It keeps my drink warm just long enough for my mornings. They do break though. My friend broke one washing dishes. And I broke the inside bottom of one with a metal butter knife I was going to use to stir the drink (it wasn't a hard hit at all, must have just touched the right spot to crack it). I ordered more, and got a couple extras I keep stored away b/c I do imagine at some point they'll break (hopefully a long time from now). To be clear... we break our ceramic mugs as well (handles, shatter, etc) as well so this is no different. If you're looking for something that's constantly on-the-go and rough usage, then have a backup metal mug for that. I typically use this at home for breakfast and at my home work desk. I occasionally take it to the park when I'm playing with my kids or to the toddler's soccer game, but I'm always conscious of being careful in those situations.

I love this bottle BUT

I love this bottle and have had two. I say HAD as the bottom has broken out of both of them. Wish they were stronger as I really like them but I would not recommend. LWP response: Thanks for your honest review, Tracy. Much appreciated. The reality is that double-walled glass is by nature fragile. It is definitely a mug to be extra careful with. But it is also a joy to drink from. All wellness to you. :)

Searched Far & Wide for This Mug!

This might be the only mug in existence to be complete plastic-free! My significant other swears he can taste any plastic in mugs, so he has been using mason jars with lids for his morning coffee en route to work. As you can imagine, not only do mason jars get hot, but the wide mouth opening is so large it often leads to accidental spills! I gifted this to my S.O. and he loves it. I just wish the mug came in a larger size! We tried to add coffee through the drinking hole after the lid was secured to fill it a bit more, but found that filling it past the black rubber stopper just caused it to leak....' Regardless, it took me weeks to find a travel mug that had ZERO plastic and I'm glad we found this!!!! Highly recommend this product and hope they'll make a larger version in the future :)

Easy and Hardy

This travel mug is absolutely the best purchase I have made in a while. I like my coffee hot, and I like it to stay hot through the morning. With a plastic thermos, coffee stays hot for a long time, but avoiding plastic has been my goal, so I purchased this glass one. While it may not keep my coffee as hot for as long of time, it keeps it hot throughout my 30 minute commute to work and for an hour at work. I absolutely LOVE the design, as it is elegant and seems hardy enough not to break at all. I haven't worried about it even cracking. It is so easy to fill and clean up compared to ALL other travel mugs I've used and it doesn't seem to leak. The drinking hole is very comfortable and doesn't drip as well.

Double Wall Reusable Glass Travel Mug

So pleased with this product! Bought it to replace one by another manufacturer that fell victim to a poorly loaded dishwasher. This one by LWP is even better. Beautiful design, and a great alternative to plastic travel mugs. I use it for both hot and cold drinks. Be aware that the cap doesn't close so the mug has to be upright at all times. Highly recommend!

Keeps my Tea Piping Hot

I like the double insulated walls, it keeps tea hot for a long while. The clear glass also is nice for a minimalist design. It doesn't hold stains from drinks and the drink hole in the top of the lid is the right size for the metal straws available from this site. My sister in law purchased this for me and I purchased it for my sister. It's a great present.
