Thermowood is an age-old method our ancestors used to treat and protect wood naturally without the use of chemicals. This method of heat treatment permanently protects wood from the effects of the environment. This treatment involves "baking" the wood at moderate temperature, which alters its texture and gives it a beautiful dark brown tone. The result is a wood that is water, heat, mold and fungi resistant.
