This is more than just any placemat. You can fold it and tighten it with the rope and it has little compartments to store your cutlery on one side and your straw, chopsticks or even your toothbrush on the other side. When you untie the little jute rope, the placemat opens so you can keep your meal clean while eating it and later use it for cleaning leftover spaghetti sauce on the edges of your mouth. It fits all of the cutlery sets we offer on this site. Actually, it would fit any cutlery sets composed of up to four items (fork, knife and two spoons). Perfect for take-out but also for taking with you when you travel.
It is made of high quality organic cotton, with a solid jute strap. It is machine Washable. The placemat will shrink a little bit and soften when washed.
