Stainless Steel Thermal Container - 500 ml / 17 oz

Keep your food hot and plastic-free on the go with this stainless steel hot meal container. Its rare to find a thermal food container with a lid made of stainless steel instead of plastic. This is a healthy, earth-friendly and food-safe product brought to you by Sanctus Mundo. Vacuum seal, watertight, BPA free and made of high quality food grade stainless steel 304 (18-8). The exterior of the lid and the base ring of bottom portion of the container are made of polypropylene, but they do not come in contact with the contents of the container.

For best results, the container should be pre-warmed with boiling water before putting warm food in the container, and closed tightly to create a seal. Based on our tests in these conditions, the container will keep food warm for 3-4 hours - but this may vary depending on particular conditions in which the container is used and transported. Our tests showed that when hot water is put in the pre-warmed container, and the container is sealed, the temperature changes as follows...
Water temperature at start: 87 degrees C / 190 degrees F
Water temperature after four hours: 57 degrees C / 115 degrees F
