Plastic-free Fruit and Vegetable Thermowood Brush

We love this little fruit brush that allows you to scrub your fruits clean without damaging them. Especially great for non-organic fruits and vegetables that need a good scrub to remove the yucky pesticides from them. This durable brush is completely non-plastic, biodegradable and compostable. It is made of sustainably harvested thermowood with natural bristles.

Thermowood is an age-old method our ancestors used to treat and protect wood naturally without the use of chemicals. This method of heat treatment permanently protects wood from the effects of the environment. This treatment involves "baking" the wood at moderate temperature, which alters its texture and gives it a beautiful dark brown tone. The result is a wood that is water, heat, mold and fungi resistant.
